Jasmina rose is another strong disease resistant rose in my garden. It has glossy foliage which the leaves never shrink because of pest problem. Quite thorny because it is climber. (Kordes climbing rose). However it doesn't bloom often in my garden, perhaps I should plant it on ground instead of pot. It always bloom in cluster, although the flower size smaller but when it bloom in cluster it is still very showy!
Definately will bloom in cluster around 7 or more flowers for a bunch
Sweet pink
Healthy looking always

Crown Princess Margareta (David Austin Roses)
I have been so long not posting any articles about gardening. Let's start over to introduce myself, I'm a rose lover, I plant all roses without chemical spray. I only use organic spray to control the pest like Mr 101 or neem oil. So only tough, strong disease resistance roses will survive in my garden.
I would like to share one of the strong disease resistance climber rose breed by David Austin, its name Crown Princess Margareta, an apricot orange beautiful roses. It never beat down by any pests, always bloom beautifully without chemical sprays.
Crown Princess Margareta is easier to propagate by stem
They can bloom in flushes
My garden is located in tropics weather, we have been struggling to fight for pests all the time. So strong and tough roses will always be my choices.

Seeds from New Zealand
I have purchased some seeds during my trip to New Zealand. New Zealand is a beautiful, nature and spectacular views. I will update some posts about my trip later when i have time :)
As you can see from the photo, there are some white envelope seeds from Garden Stuff. This online shop is located in Christchurch, I have purchased it online before I went to New Zealand and requested them to deliver to my last day accommodation in Christchurch and I received the seeds safely when i arrived to the accommodation :)
I have bought Liatris Florist Violet, Ageratum Neptune Blue, Hollyhock Marjorette, Chrysanthemum Carinatum Painted Daisy, Anagallis Monelii Blue Pimpernell and Lisianthus Double Echo Pink. Whereas the Hollyhock Ebony Towers is a free gift from them *Surprise*. Hollyhock is my all time favorite and this dwarf type Hollyhock is suitable for me which has small garden and limited space. It grows around 2-3 feet tall.
Yellow package seeds are actually from Bracken Hall (on the way to Te Anau), they are selling around NZD3.20 each which is the cheaper price i have found. As some other place selling around NZD6++. I have grabbed Portulaca, Lupin, Lobelia and Dahlia. While the Livingstone Daisy i purchased in a nursery in Ashburton (on the way back to Christchurch).
All the seeds from New Zealand are fresh and have a good germination rate. I have germinated few of them successfully in my garden now. Will update the progress later on, please stay tune ^_^

Zinnia Pompon
I'm a gardening beginner. Last few years I was very mad on gardening and spend a lot to buy plants but end up many of them dead. In 2011, my new house small garden just setup, my gardening's heat back again. So i wish to learn everything over again.
My very first time to grow seeds successfully was the first try on Zinnia Pompon. Here is the steps to grow Zinnia Pompon.
My very first time to grow seeds successfully was the first try on Zinnia Pompon. Here is the steps to grow Zinnia Pompon.
- Start sow the seeds in damp soil . You may use a saucer to fill water put underneath flower pot. Sprinkle the soil morning and night.
- The seeds sprouted after 3 days and grow very fast after that. Remove the water in the saucer.
- Transplant to medium pot when it has 4 true leaves.
- Give 3 days in shaded area to let it familiar with new environment
- Once it look healthy and recover from transplant, we can move to full sun area and water by watering can
- Every week give little fertilizer (not too much)
- Pinch off need to do when it grow 12 inches tall, just cut the upper part and the part being cut can be planted also. The purpose of pinch off is to grow more branches
It is very fun to grow from seeds as you will wonder how it looks like and what's the flower's color. After two months, it start to blooms, the colors are so lovely
